What could be included

A plan proposal might describe the equipment, site survey and installation, performance monitoring, inspections and aftercare. Ask which items, repairs, replacement parts and response times are included, what costs extra and who will provide each service. Partner examples mention terms from five to 25 years, but your actual options would depend on the provider and contract.

Payments, ownership and warranties

Ask for the complete payment schedule, upfront charges, fees and end-of-term terms. Paying rentals does not automatically transfer ownership; that requires an express provision in the signed contract. Manufacturer warranties may range from 10 to 25 years depending on the component, but coverage, exclusions and repairs vary and must be confirmed in writing.

RPI is a consumer price measure, not a business tariff or prediction. Solar can reduce purchases from the grid where generation and self-use allow, but it does not guarantee savings or protection from price changes.
